Loving a Thousand People | Yuanzhou Group’s 2025 Chongyang Elderly Care Public Welfare Event

In the golden autumn of Double Ninth Festival, warmth fills the twilight years. Companies under the Yuanzhou Group have taken proactive steps, offering heartfelt companionship and concrete actions to extend festive greetings to our elders, thus upholding the cherished Chinese virtue of respecting and caring for the elderly.

Coastal area

Linhai Property, in collaboration with China Mobile, Huaren Hospital, Bright Dairy, and other partners, hosted the “Warmth for the Golden Years—Caring for Seniors Starts with Me” event. The program featured traditional opera performances, free medical consultations, complimentary haircuts, foot care services, and gift‑giving of dairy products. Attendees also enjoyed local delicacies such as Chongyang cakes and tea‑infused eggs, spreading health and compassion.

Yuanzhou Property, in collaboration with government and enterprise partners, organized a “Filial Piety and Respect for the Elderly” outreach program. The initiative visited Xiaotian Village in Duqiao Town, presenting cash donations, Chongyang cakes, longevity peaches, and small household appliances to 25 elderly residents aged 90 and above. The event also introduced an “SOS Emergency Call Device” project to enhance seniors’ home safety. The secretary-general of the village’s Senior Citizens’ Association expressed gratitude for the generous contributions of all parties, highlighting society’s care for the elderly.

Linhai Yuanzhou International Hotel, in collaboration with the Petrochemical Division, Property Management, and the Party Office, visited the Chenghuangmiao Senior Citizens’ Home to carry out a “Chongyang Festival After Chongyang, Warmth in the Golden Years” outreach program. The team prepared heartwarming meals, staged a theatrical performance, and offered hairdressing services, while chatting with the seniors and listening to their stories, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and cheerful conversation.

Wenling Yuanzhou Yiting Hotel and the Publicity Department of Songmen Municipal Government paid a visit to Shuxin Nursing Home, presenting dumplings, fruits, cakes, and fresh flowers. The general manager engaged in warm conversations with the staff, learned about the residents’ living conditions, took commemorative photos, and extended festive greetings.

Taizhou Region

On October 28, the hotels under Taizhou Yuanzhou Hospitality—the Taizhou Kaitou Yuanzhou Wyndham Hotel, Taizhou Yuanzhou Phoenix Villa, and Taizhou Yuanzhou Yiting Hotel—jointly organized the “Warmth on Double Ninth Day, Love by Your Side” public‑service event.

Volunteers visited a senior residence, bringing warmth and care. They presented flowers and heartfelt wishes to the elderly residents and thoughtfully prepared a low-sugar fruit cake, balancing taste with health. The seniors beamed with joy, offering repeated praise. At noon, the hotel’s chef meticulously crafted a “Taste of Home” feast featuring savory crepe rolls, which everyone gathered around to make and share, exchanging laughter and warm sentiments. These traditional delicacies not only warmed the stomach but also forged bonds across generations, allowing love and companionship to blossom warmly on the Double Ninth Festival.

Jiangxi Region

The management teams of the Sheraton Jiujiang Hotel and the Yuzhou Yiting Hotel visited the Xunyang District Social Welfare Institute to carry out a “Warmth in Golden Autumn, Love on Double Ninth Festival” outreach event, extending their greetings and best wishes to the elderly. The team personally made dumplings and fried radish cakes, engaged in warm conversations with the residents, learned about their daily needs, and conveyed heartfelt care.

Sanqingshan Yuanzhou Hotel, in collaboration with the Management Committee and the Village Committee, launched the “Double Ninth Festival: Warmth for All, Enduring Neighborhood Bonds” outreach initiative, visiting elderly residents living alone and families facing hardship in the scenic area’s vicinity. The hotel proactively assessed their needs and prepared “Community Care Packages,” which included rice, cooking oil, milk, pork belly, and handmade dumplings. Department heads visited 20 households, listened to the elders’ stories, and shared heartwarming moments together.

Chaohu Yuanzhou Haoting Grand Hotel

The Far East Grand Hotel in Chaohu visited the Jiujiu Xiyanghong Senior Care Center to carry out a charitable visit under the theme “Warmth on Double Ninth Festival, Passing on Love.” In addition to essential supplies, the hotel specially prepared bread, fresh flowers, and handmade dumplings, conveying the warmth of home. The hotel also collaborated with students from Hugang Primary School; the children personally fed dumplings to the elderly, creating a heartwarming atmosphere that brought together three generations. The director expressed gratitude for the hotel’s longstanding commitment to public service, while the general manager noted that such activities also serve as an educational experience for the staff.

Hangzhou Lujing Xixi Hotel

Hangzhou Lujing Xixi Hotel paid a visit to the local community nursing home to extend its condolences, with a particular focus on centenarians and other elderly residents. The team presented milk and fruit, listened to the seniors’ stories, and carefully assessed their needs. The hotel emphasized that respecting and caring for the elderly is both a time-honored virtue and a corporate responsibility, and pledged to continue addressing the needs of older adults while exploring diverse ways to provide meaningful support.

Lujing Tiantai Resort Hotel

On October 24, the Lujing Tiantai Resort Hotel once again joined forces with the “Red Heart Society” of Tiantai County to embark on a visit to comfort centenarian veterans of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The group drove nearly a hundred kilometers to pay respects to nine veteran families. The scenes before them were deeply moving: some veterans remained in robust health, still tending their gardens and managing daily life on their own; others slowly opened the doors of memory, recounting those tumultuous years of war. Each story touched the heart, inspiring profound respect and a deeper appreciation for the preciousness of peace. Though the smoke of battle has long since cleared, the spirit of these veterans endures, as fresh and vibrant as ever. Their deeds and patriotic devotion constitute a timeless spiritual legacy, reminding us to remember history, cherish the present, stay true to our original aspirations, press forward with determination, and honor the hard-won peace we enjoy today.
