Double Ninth Festival: Yuanzhou Group Spreads Warmth and Celebrates Together

On the Double Ninth Festival, a traditional Chinese holiday dedicated to honoring the elderly, representatives from the various business units under Yuanzhou Group actively organized and carried out a series of public‑service activities, extending heartfelt warmth to seniors through concrete actions and upholding the fine cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.

Coastal Area

Volunteering spreads civility; together, we warm the twilight years.

The Linhai Regional Branch of Yuanzhou Group, in collaboration with Yuanzhou Petrochemical, the Linhai Yuanzhou International Hotel, and Linhai Yuanzhou Property Management, jointly visited the Central House Senior Citizens’ Association in Huangtan Town, Linhai City. Together, they organized a heartwarming outreach event themed “Volunteering Spreads Civilization, Joining Hands to Warm the Golden Years,” bringing festive greetings and heartfelt care to the elderly.

On site, nearly 20 volunteers, clad in red vests and armed with ingredients and hairdressing tools, divided into teams to offer services such as cooking, haircuts, and opera performances, bringing the warmth of the holiday to the elderly.

Taizhou Region

Respect and care for the elderly, carrying forward fine traditional virtues.

Three hotels in the Taizhou region—the Taizhou Yuanzhou Phoenix Villa, the Taizhou Yuanzhou Yiting, and the Taizhou Kaitou Yuanzhou Wyndham Hotel—jointly organized the public‑service event “Respecting and Caring for the Elderly on Double Ninth Festival: Passing Down Timeless Virtues.” Employee representatives brought festive warmth and heartfelt social care to the elderly residents of the Shan’ai Senior Apartment in Xiachen Subdistrict.

More than 30 employee representatives, led by the management team, made dumplings, distributed celebratory cakes, cut birthday cakes, and gave haircuts to the elderly. They also presented flowers and heartfelt wishes to centenarians, conveying warmth and love through concrete actions.

Lujing Tiantai

Visiting and comforting veteran soldiers, recalling the glorious years of yore.

Lujing Tiantai Resort Hotel has joined forces with the Tiantai County charitable organization “Hongxin Society” to launch a public‑service initiative honoring centenarian veterans of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Volunteers visited the veterans’ homes, listened to their wartime stories, and carried forward the legacy of that heroic era.

Volunteers from the Lujing Tiantai Resort Hotel drove nearly a hundred kilometers to visit several centenarian families of veterans who fought in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, delivering essential supplies. Listening to the veterans’ firsthand accounts, the volunteers were deeply moved and developed heartfelt respect for their bravery and patriotic spirit.

Xixi of Lujing

With hearts devoted to the twilight years, love fills the Double Ninth Festival.

To uphold the traditional Chinese virtues of respecting and caring for the elderly, representatives from the staff of Hangzhou Lujing Xixi Hotel visited the Shilin Community In-Home Elderly Care Service Center, where they offered heartfelt wishes to seniors celebrating their birthdays.

The employee representatives extended their care to all the elderly residents in the community, presenting them with fresh fruits such as persimmons and pomegranates—symbols of good fortune—and conveying heartfelt warmth. They engaged in warm, friendly conversations with the seniors, listened to their life stories, and conveyed the hotel’s sincere condolences and support.

Chaohu Yuanzhou

On the Double Ninth Festival, heartfelt respect for the elderly fills the air.

The Far East Grand Hotel in Chaohu held a Chongyang Festival outreach event, delivering gifts to elderly residents and those with disabilities in Guangming Community, conveying the heartfelt care of all hotel staff.

The hotel presented the elderly with essential supplies such as rice, cooking oil, and milk, and offered them festive greetings along with steaming hot dumplings, allowing them to fully experience the warm spirit of the Double Ninth Festival.

Yuanzhou Group has always upheld a strong sense of social responsibility and actively participated in public welfare initiatives. This year’s Double Ninth Festival event not only allowed elderly residents to feel the care and concern of all sectors of society but also demonstrated Yuanzhou Group’s respect for and commitment to preserving traditional culture.
