Taizhou Yuanzhou Petrochemical Storage (Oil Depot) and Supporting Terminal Project
The Taizhou Yuanzhou Petrochemical Storage (Oil Depot) and Supporting Terminal Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”) is a key initiative under the Taizhou Municipal Government’s “Zhejiang Merchants Return” program. The Project has been successively designated as a provincial-level marine‑economy priority project by the Marine Economy Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and as a major municipal project by the Taizhou Municipal Government. Covering an area of 230 mu, the project will feature a storage tank farm with a total capacity of 150,000–200,000 cubic meters and an annual transshipment throughput of up to 1.2 million tons. It also includes one 3,000‑ton class (with berthing capability for 5,000‑ton vessels) petrochemical terminal and one logistics terminal, each designed to handle an annual throughput of 1.5 million tons. The Project is being developed in two phases, with Phase I now officially in operation.
